Jeremiah Daniel Baker, 17, of Wake Forest, passed away, Tuesday morning, February 18, 2014 at his home. He was born in Williamsport, PA and was mostly homeschooled before attending Canton High School in Canton, PA. After moving to North Carolina he was homeschooled and also attended Granville Early College. Jeremiah was active with the Wake Forest Homeschool Football League and also worked at Bojangles in Creedmoor.
Jeremiah was shy and quiet as a youngster. He grew into a wonderful, strong, and confident adolescent. He was very generous and a good friend to his siblings. He respected and honored his parents and loved God. He really liked works by Christian rap artist LeCrae. His passion was football-especially the Steelers and Emily was his world.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock, Monday afternoon, February 24, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville with Pastor Richard Mills and Pastor Don Colton officiating.
Jeremiah is survived by his parents, William “Bill” Baker & Helen Stine Baker of Wake Forest; siblings, Gabrielle & husband, Jonathan Wilcox, of Canada, Burt & wife, Alicia, of PA, Isaac & wife, Rachel, of NJ, Bryce of NC, Nathanael of PA, Malachi of PA, Desiree of NC and Eli of NC; grandparents, Evelyn Izzo of FL and Ronald Baker of PA; nieces & nephews, Caleb, Addison, Jaxon, Isaiah and Dana-Leigh; special friends, Mitchell and Emily. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Stine and Bridget Baker.
