Ann Daniel “Danny” Ray, 83, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late William and Millie Braswell Boone. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Charlotte Boone Hawley, and Martha Boone Burgess.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, June 29, 2017 at Cedar Rock First Baptist Church with the Rev. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Ray is survived by her husband, Roger E. Ray of Castalia, NC. son, Charles N. Hart, Jr. of Castalia, NC. Nieces and Nephews; Jenny Johnson and husband Eric of Mebane, Elizabeth Jennings, James Jennings and wife Colleen of Auburn, AL. Martha Martin and husband Duke of Coppell, TX. Vann Burgess and wife Gayle of Stafford, VA. Graham Perry and wife Ashley of Nashville TN. A brother-in-law Euston Ray and Wife Dorothy of Prescott, AZ. Seven great nephews and four great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 351 T Kemp Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 to 2:00 prior to the funeral service.
