Barbara Jean O’Brien, 34, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Born July 29, 1982 in Colorado to William and Anna Mancin O’Brien, Barbara was an avid historical re-enactor. She taught open fire cooking and worked as a Pharmacy technician at Rite Aide in Henderson, and part-time at Sheetz in Louisburg
Barbara was always smiling and laughing and was well loved by all that knew her. She loved her family and cooking for everybody was her way of saying I LOVE YOU. She was always ready to experience new things and embraced life to the fullest.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest.
Surviving are; her husband, of 12 years, Michael Minor; daughters, Gabriella and Damiana O'Brien of the home; step-sons, Dakota and Dechlan Minor of Smithfield; mother, Anna O'Brien; sister Abigail O'Brien of Florida.
The family will be present 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest
