Cecilia Lindado Jimenez, 90, died Thursday, February 15, 2018. She was born February 8, 1928 in Colombia to the late Hector and Carmela Urina Lindado. Mrs. Jimenez moved to the United States in 1964.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo who died in March 2017, her parents as well as a granddaughter, Jacqueline Jimenez.
Mrs. Jimenez’s funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 520 W. Holding Ave., Wake Forest.
Surviving are: two daughters, Lourdes Saxton and husband, Steven of Saxon, NJ, Myriam Mackey and husband, Kevin of Hilton Head, SC; two sons, Jaime Jimenez and wife, Ruth of Wake Forest, and Alexander Jimenez of Raleigh; five grandchildren, Jaime Jr., Alexandra, Samantha, Steven Jr., and Stephanie; a great-granddaughter, Marilyn.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, February 23, 2018 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest. (919) 556-5811
