I was in R&D at UCC/RP in RTP until 1990. Your Dave was a breath of fresh, fun air and never failed to bring a smile to my face because he had one on his! Your words of tribute to him are enlightening & touching - solid, smart, and social - a gem of an engineer, truly breaks the stereotype. You all are so fortunate to have had such an excellent man in your lives, and I am fortunate to have occasionally crossed his path those many years ago! What a dear bear of a man . . . his smiling photo brings these good feelings all back. Sympathy and warm wishes to you all.
