Donald James Page

Donald J Page, 86, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

Donald was born in Binghamton, New York. He attended Cornell University and Alfred State Tech, then, entered the Air Force in 1953 and was stationed in San Angelo, Texas. He worked for IBM for 30 years as a Field Engineer, Customer Service Manager, and as a Manager in Hong Kong for three years. He retired to Punta Gorda, Florida and he and his wife, Marie, began traveling across the US and the world.

He was a member of North Raleigh United Methodist Church. Donald loved to travel with his wife and his dog, Mulligan, in their motorhome. He love playing golf and walking his dogs and was amazing at fixing anything and everything. He was a wonderful father and loving husband.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Ella Page.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Page; daughters, Diana Mingus (Bill) ,Sheryl Page, Linda Davison (Russ) ; grandchildren, Walter Mingus, Casey Davison, Noah Davison, Rebecca Little; four great grandchildren; and his sister, Judy Scofield.

Memorial contributions can be made to Saving Grace Animal Rescue in Wake Forest, NC.

 Memorial service celebrating Donald's life will be held 11 o’clock Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Visitation  from 10-11 Prior to the service
