Elene Morris O'Neal

Elene Morris O’Neal, 87, of Wake Forest passed away on Saturday evening, October 8, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Wake County daughter of the late Bud Morris and Luna Morton Morris.

Mrs. O’Neal was a member of Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church and she was retired from Westinghouse Corporation in Raleigh. She loved to cook and serve others. She loved her church and family dearly

A funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning, October 12, 2022 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her husband; Winston R. “Wink” O’Neal, sons; Gregory O’Neal and his wife Cindy of Wake Forest, Barry O’Neal and his wife Nanette of Creedmoor, grandchildren; Ashley O’Neal-Zasoski and her husband Dennis, Brad O’Neal and his wife Tara, Dylan O’Neal and his Significant Other Kristen Tice, Sarrah Kassinger, Sean Kassinger and Keith Kassinger, great grandchildren; Rosaleigh Tice, Maggie Kassinger and Tinley O’Neal.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church P.O. Box 263 Wake Forest, NC 27588.

Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
