Sue Couchois 90, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Wake Medical Center after a brief illness. Sue was born January 13, 1927 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Mathias and Kathryn Hurth.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Jack Couchois and was a loving and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons Tim Couchois and Greg, wife Jeanne Couchois and three grandchildren; Matt, Kimberly and Jon Couchois, all of Wake Forest, NC. Sue is also survived by her sister; Mary Lou Verderese, husband Guy Verderese, numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Sue was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Wake Forest, NC. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the COPD Foundation, www.copdfoundation.org or American Lung Association, www.lung.org
