Frederick Wayne Pulley

Our beloved Wayne passed away suddenly at his home in Youngsville on Saturday, December 23rd.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Malcolm E. and Eunice B. Pulley.

Wayne was an active member of Wake Forest Baptist Church and loved his church family. Most of his working career he was a successful sales representative in the commercial printing industry and most recently worked part-time at Target. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Wayne brought smiles, laughter and lots of energy everywhere he went. He will be missed greatly by everyone who knew him.

Surviving are his wife Lynn W. Pulley; brother, Marty G. Pulley (Rhonda); sisters, Linda P. Pulley and Debbie P. Edwards (Waylon); step-sons, Brian and Stephen Dinwiddie; step-grandchildren, Josh Dinwiddie, Heather Keene (Thomas) and Trafton Dinwiddie; three special Aunts, Betty Hight (Joe), Edith Fisher (Gene) and Arlene Edwards (Tommy) and many nieces, nephews and cousins all whom he loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, January 21st at 3:00 p.m. at Wake Forest Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Wake Forest Baptist Church.
