Jackie F. Allen, 71, died Thursday, November 30, 2017. She was born May 23, 1946, in Franklin County, to the late Florence Woodlief Ferguson and John Henry Ferguson. Jackie retired from Westinghouse in 2015, after 51 years. She was a longtime member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Youngsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Paul David Pearce and Calbert Ervin Allen, two brothers, Bervin and John Ferguson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Allen will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Rev. Jim Robertson will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Youngsville.
Surviving are: a son, Rodney Pearce of Garner; a daughter, Sharon M. Tyner and husband, Craig of Smithfield; two step-daughters, Peggy Allen of Benson and Dorie Clickovich; six grandchildren, Sierra, Nicholas, Jena, Devin, Austin and Aiden; four sisters; two brothers; and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm Sunday at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest. (919) 556-5811
