James Douglas Jordan

James Douglas Jordan, 77 of Henderson died at home, Sunday, March 6th at 19:25 hrs. He was born December 16, 1944 in Parkton N.C. to his parents Perry Monroe Jordan and Agnes Adele Jordan. Mr. Jordan served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1965-1971. He also owned and operated Jordan Constuction for over 30 years. He attended Rock Spring Baptist Church in Henderson.

Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his wife of 54 yrs. Rebecca Ann Jordan, and brothers William Jordan and Gary Jordan. James leaves his memory to sons James D. Jordan ll and his wife Janie, Jason D. Jordan and his wife Anna, 3 God children, Samuel, Stephen and Abigail Harward, and grandchildren Lindsay Lake, Hunter Jordan, Laura Jordan, Nathan Jordan, Brittany Bower and RJ Jordan.

Mr. Jordan is survived by brothers Bobby Jordan and his wife Linda, Richard Jordan and his wife Patricia, Randy Jordan and his wife Dale, Sam Jordan and his wife Kim, Scott Jordan and his wife Paddy, and sister Barbara and her husband Ted, also numerous nephews and nieces.

A "Celebration of Life" ceremony will be held at Franklinton Baptist Church on Saturday, April 2nd at 12:00 noon.

Fellowship in the church fellowship hall will immediately follow the ceremony.
