Jerry Daniel Wilkins, 78, passed away on Monday evening January 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Durham County the son of the late Virginia Taylor Wilkins and Huey Daniel Wilkins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alice Sykes Wilkins and a son Kenneth “Ken” Wilkins.
A funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon January 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Sykes Family Cemetery.
Jerry is survived by his daughters; Pattie Ferrell and husband David, Faye Daniel and husband Greg, a son; Steve Wilkins and wife Sylvia, a sister; Joyce Carnell, grandchildren; Stevie Wilkins, Eddie Wilkins, Shelby Ferrell and Thomas Ferrell, a great grandchild; Peyton Wilkins.
