We've know all the Lye family for many many years and are very saddened by Kenneth's sudden passing. We will always remember how beautiful his farm was, riding our horses on their land with Kim and Alden, hearing him call the cows up for their morning milking ,and getting up hay for our horses to name a few. He was a good good person and will truly be missed. We're here if you need us. Rest In Peace Kenneth.

Ken was one of my (our) favorite customers at the Grill at E.T.'s. His smile was one that could brighten the darkest of days. You will forever be missed...Rest Easy My Friend

Children & Family,
Just wanted you to know what a good man your father was to us.We lived across the road from your dad's farm. Though we didn't talk to him much and haven't seen him for a while because of his health. He brought me gravel many times and always would always spread it for me. And I would be out walking early in the morning ,he would be leaving on his day's journey. He would always wave and smile. When he delivered the gravel ,he would always come in and would talk for a while and always you kids were in the conversation. One funny thing about the first time he came in,I went to the door and invited him in and we were eating our evening meal.We talked and as he left he walked into our storm door.He said it was so clean he didn't see it. We had a good laugh.I am so sorry for your loss and pray for you as you prepare his memorial. May God give you peace.

We can't begin to express our heartbreak hearing of the loss of "Farmer Ken"; He was not just a neighbor or friend- he was family to all who knew him-especially us. All the times he would come to our side door and welcomed our Saints with open arms...Trading Honey for eggs and swapping fresh veggies; talking about happenings around town, football and grandbabies- whom he was most proud of.. As many around town (ET's Quickstop) , we will miss seeing you everyday. We know Ken was strong in his faith and have no doubt we will be seeing him again. Our condolences to the Lye family. We are here if you need anything.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and know that we are deeply saddened by the news of Ken's passing. We so looked forward to our talks, our meetings by the fence and mowing grass together. We called him Farmer Ken and never without a smile, loved his laugh, and always a kind word to share with you. You will be so missed but the Angels are rejoicing and we will see you again one day.

We are so sad to hear of Farmer Ken's passing. We'll miss seeing him and his friendly wave as he would drive through the neighborhood on his golf cart. He was such a sweet man and will certainly be missed.

Kenneth and I were friends for 50 years! He was a wonderful man and a great friend. We had a lot of good times together during my teenage years. I loved Kenneth as a brother and my heart is broken. My prayers are with Kenneth's family during this time of grief. I grieve with you and will miss Kenneth. My life was blessed for knowing Kenneth Lye and for having him as my friend!
