Larisa (Strut) Roata

Larisa Roata, 55, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. She was born on December 16, 1968 to the late Marta and Grigorie Strut.

Larisa loved her family very much and enjoyed hosting family events at her home. She loved to cook and spend time in her garden.

She had a generous heart, she always put others before herself. She was a hard worker and always pushed her children to do well in school. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Above all she was a woman of faith, and a wife and mom of prayer.

She is survived by her husband, Iurie Roata; and children, Igor, Inga, Cornel, Veronica, Dorel, Ana, Cornelia, and Estera.

The family received friends on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 6-8 PM at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.

A funeral service was held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the funeral home chapel with Valeriu Vizitiu officiating. Burial followed at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest, NC. Everyone is invited to join the family for food and fellowship following the burial at Christ Baptist Church, 400 Newton Rd. Raleigh, NC 27615.
