Margaret "No No" Pearce Stallings

Margaret Ann Pearce Stallings, 85, of Youngsville, died at her home on April 18, 2022.  Margaret was born May 1, 1936, to the late Henry Sanford Pearce and Mary Rogers Pearce.  In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Allen Stallings, Sr. and her grandson Branson Wiggins.

Margaret was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Youngsville.  She graduated from Youngsville High School and became a stay home mom for many years before becoming a dental assistant and office manager for Dr. WR Spencer and Dr. Gary Oyster for 36 years. Margaret loved to travel, dance, and spend time with family and friends.  She enjoyed crafts and was a former member of the Youngsville Woman’s Club. Her home was full of collectibles from her many travel experiences, and she was affectionally known as “No No” by her grand and great grandchildren.  They knew not to touch her pretties.

Mrs. Stallings is survived by her brother, Bobby Sanford Pearce of Youngsville, her children, Clara Stallings of Beaufort NC, Bob Stallings of the Gillburg Community, and Al Stallings, Jr. (Deborah) of Youngsville. She leaves behind six grandchildren, Mark Garrett (Shann), Anya Stallings, Justin Wiggins, E A Stallings (Kristi), Jared Wiggins, J R Stallings, and five great grandchildren, Karsen Garrett, Deacon Garrett, Connor Wiggins, Willow Wiggins, John Allen Stallings, and special friend, Donald Poole.

Services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM with the service beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gary McNair officiating.  Burial will follow in the Green Family Plot at Youngsville Cemetery.
