Nora Mae Horton

Nora Mae Fox Horton, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 at Rex Hospital at the age of 86. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Nora Mae was born on April 26, 1932 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina where she resided for many years before moving to Wake Forest and finally Fuquay-Varina. Mrs. Horton was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be eternally missed.

Mrs. Horton is survived by her son Charles Horton and wife Sabrina of Holly Springs; her son Robby Horton and wife Tammy of Fuquay-Varina; her granddaughter Jennifer Brown and husband Brooks; her granddaughter Tiffany Wieber and husband John; her grandson Robby Horton and wife Sarah; her granddaughter Kristin Horton and husband Alicio; her great-grandchildren Abigail Brown, John Wesley Wieber, Margaret Mae Wieber, and Porter Horton; and her brother, three sisters, and many other family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, C.D. Horton, and several brothers and sisters. 

Visitation will be held 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Monday, August 6, 2018 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 South Main St., Wake Forest. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Garden, Wake Forest.
