Shirley Ann Gilbert

Shirley Ann Gilbert, 86 of Wake Forest, NC passed away peacefully Thursday (July 28, 2022) surrounded by her sons in her home.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband Halsey Gilbert (Hal), her dog Chip and siblings Matthew Stuczynski, Bill Stuczynski, Evelyn Cole and Donna Koprowski.

Born in Cleveland, OH, she moved in 1993 to Palm Harbor FL from Strongsville Ohio, and in 1994 moved to New Port Richey.  She also relocated to Memphis, TN and Cary, NC before settling in Wake Forest, NC close to her family.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her son Bradley J. and Bruce H.; her daughter in-laws Kristin and Angie; her four grandchildren Madison, Zane, Brogan and Kaden; her siblings Jo-ann Sulkowski, Eugene Stuczynski, and Guy Iarussi.  She will always be remembered and deeply missed.

Family and friends are having a small gathering in remembrance of Shirley and she will be laid to rest with her husband in the National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
