Sibyline White Rogers

Sibyline White Rogers, 96, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Wake Forest passed away on Friday January 19, 2018. She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Henry W. and Mary (Chalk) White.
After many years of job related moves, she and Hester retired to Wake Forest in 1982 and enjoyed being close to family and friends.
Later she moved to the Lodge of Wake Forest and continued to enjoy the support of her church, family, friends.
Sibyline was a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and her three sons continue in her footsteps.
She was a kind; gracious and thoughtful person and she will be missed by all.
A funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning, January 24, 2018 at Wake Union Baptist Church 13345 Wake Union Church Rd. Wake Forest, NC 27587. Burial will follow at the Wake Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
Sibyline was predeceased by her husband, Bennett Hester Rogers; her 12 brothers and sisters; grandchild Elizabeth Rogers and great grandchild Sean Bennett Rogers.
She is survived by her three sons: Charles B. Rogers and his wife Martha  of St. Johns, FL.; Roy Rogers and his wife Amanda (Mandy) of Decatur, GA.; and Wayne Rogers and his wife Lynn of Canton, GA.; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening, January 23, 2018,  at Bright Funeral Home 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wake Union Baptist Church.
