Sue Ann Farlow, 82, died Friday, February 9, 2018. She was born February 2, 1936, in Chatham County, to the late Burkett P. Phillips and Nannie Grubbs Phillips. Sue Ann was a graduate of City Memorial Hospital in Winston –Salem, where she received her nursing degree.
She worked as a registered nurse and retired, after 38 years, as the operating room supervisor from REX Hospital. Sue Ann was a member of Caraleigh Baptist Church in Raleigh.
Sue Ann was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
A memorial service for Sue Ann will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest.
Surviving are: her husband, of 60 years, B. Frank Farlow, Jr. of Raleigh; a son , Rodney Farlow and wife, Cheryl of Wake Forest; three grandsons, Stephen, Benjamin and Lukas; a brother, Gary Phillips of Bear Creek; a sister, Berta Lou Scott and husband, Hoyt of Bear Creek.
