W. Morris Hill

William Morris Hill, 78, of Youngsville, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late Clifton and Margaret Hill and was married to Patricia A. “Sis” Hill who preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by his step-mother Rebecca Hill. Morris retired from Burlington Mill in Franklinton as a supervisor and was a life-long member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning, July 12, 2022 at Flat Rock Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his special friend, Sue “Mema” Bell of Louisburg; sister, Mary Carroll and husband, Wesley of Youngsville; brothers, Otha Hill and wife, Deborah of Youngsville and Reginald Hill and wife, Shelby, of North Wilkesboro; his nephew, Willy Hill and wife, April of Youngsville. Morris wanted to thank April for many hours of assistance during his illness. Many other nephews and nieces.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Flat Rock Baptist Church Building Fund, 1529 Flat Rock Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.

Friends may visit with the family in the church fellowship hall following the service.
