Albert Absolon Bunn II

Albert A. Bunn, II of Wake Forest passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. He was born in Wake County, the son of Albert Absolon Bunn and the late Mary Lou “Peggy" West Bunn. Mr. Bunn enjoyed going to the beach, freshwater fishing, playing golf, anything to do with NASCAR where Chase Elliott was his guy to follow, the Pittsburg Steelers, anything about NC State Wolfpack and the NY Mets.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, July 22, 2020 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Walters Bunn; daughter, Amy Allyson Bunn; a grandson, Kellen Albert Bunn, and a granddaughter, Aaliyah Marilynn Stanczak; brother, Lonnie Wayne Bunn; sisters, Deborah Bunn Wetherill, and Susan Bunn Johnson.
