April 26, 1929 ~ May 17, 2021 (age 92) 92 Years Old

Tribute

Alfred “Al” Trevillian, 92, of Raleigh passed away on Monday May 17, 2021 at Wakemed North after a battle with prostate cancer.

Al was born in Flint, Michigan in 1929 to Alfred James Trevillian and Habe Williams Trevillian. He grew up in Flint and attended the public schools. After high school graduation, he attended Piedmont Bible College in Winston-Salem, NC. During this time he met his future wife, Bonnie Martin of Bassett, VA. They were married in 1953. Al was a lifelong salesman, able to sell ice cubes to Eskimos. His personality was ideal for sales, as he never met a stranger in all of his 92 years. Like many sales people, Al moved a lot. He and the family lived in Port Huron, Coloma, Davidson, St. Joseph and Lansing. In 1970 while working for Gold Bond stamps, he and the family moved for the last time to Raleigh.

Al was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter; Bonnie Riddle (Steve) of Lexington, NC, sons; John (Nancy) of Raleigh, Jim (Becky) of Louisburg and Robert (Suzanne) of Charlotte, and a sister; Barbara of Maryland. Al also loved and enjoyed his 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
