Allison Marie King

Allison Marie King of Wake Forest passed away unexpectedly at home on July 24, 2021.

Allison was known for her love for her daughter, Grayson, and her generous heart.  She enjoyed making people laugh and was a natural host who was happiest making others feel comfortable and at ease.  Allison enjoyed fishing especially on the James River in Virginia and pier and surf fishing at NC beaches.  Among Grayson and her friends, Allison was known for hosting fun pizza and horror movie sleepovers.

Having lived in the Raleigh area for most of her life, Allison had many, many long-standing relationships with people who cared about her.  In addition to her family and friends, Allison loved her dogs who were her fur-babies.

Allison is preceded in death by her father, Milton Wayne King, Sr. and is survived by her daughter, Grayson Thomas; her mother, Joyce King; her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Brigid King, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive visitors at Bright Funeral Home on Friday July 30th, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Bright Funeral Home located at 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
