Amoret Judd Rhodes, 75, of Youngsville passed away on Friday afternoon April 2, 2021 at the Transitions Life Care Hospice in Raleigh. She was born in Wake County the daughter of the late Dora Rasemond Elliott Judd and Dr. Glenn Ballentine Judd. She was preceded in death by her two sisters; Janie Roundtree and Susan Judd Roxby.
After graduating from St. Mary’s High School, the University of South Carolina, and Wake Tech Community College, she began her nursing career at Wake Med in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
She enjoyed her gardening, craftwork, her time at Lake Gaston, and her church.
A funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock Monday afternoon April 5, 2021 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest.
She is survived by her husband; Ellis L. Rhodes, nieces; Cameron R. Nelson, Courtney R. McCarthy, Megan R. Mott, Caitlin A. Roxby and their spouses, brother-in-law; Frank Roundtree, and other family members that blessed her life; in-laws Mary Lou Cunningham (Edward), Desiree Jones (A.J.), Tony Rhodes (Allison), nieces and nephews; Brian, Brandon, Houston (Candice), Abby (Jason) and Brittney.
