Anjela Ostas Certan

Anjela Ostas Certan 47 of Raleigh, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021.  She was born May 16, 1974 in Moldova to Ivan and Zinovia Keor Ostas.  Anjela was a member of Bethel Moldovian Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Coordinator, and was loved by the children that attended.  She encouraged and prayed for others, putting others above herself.  Anjela enjoyed painting, listening to music, gardening, and being with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her husband Ivan Certan of the residence, two daughters, Irina Certan of the residence, and Alondra Certan Roata and husband Dorel of Wendell, two sons, David Certan and wife Mirela of Asheville, and Mark Certan of the residence, two brothers, Victor Ostas of Agawam, MA, and Serghei Ostas of Charlotte, one grandson, Ezekiel Roata.

A Celebration of Anjela’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St Wake Forest, NC 27587 with Pastor Val Vizitiu officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Funeral Home.
