Ann Mizelle Speck

Ann Mizelle Speck, age 58 of Cary, NC passed away Sunday, February 28th surrounded by her loving family after a 3 year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Ann grew up in Raleigh attending Apex High School and then received her Bachelor degree in business from Campbell University in 1985. Ann went on to work at the State Employees Credit Union for over 33 years as a branch manager at different locations.

Ann was a longtime faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh and participated in various charity events throughout her life.

Ann was preceded in death by her Father, James Luther Mizelle.

Ann is survived by her husband, Brian; daughter, Alexis Bevelacqua, Wilmington, NC; Mother Sue Mizelle; half Sister Terri Mizelle of Buffalo Gap, TX and half-Brother Jim Mizelle of Abilene, Texas.

Thank you to SECU and friends who helped with meals and sent over 300 get well cards to Ann.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Thursday, March 4th 2021 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Inskeep officiating. Social distancing will be practiced. Burial will be immediately after the service at Wake Forest Cemetery. A live video stream will be available 5 min. before the service starts (See Website).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to SPAC or the YMCA of Wake County.
