Annie Elizabeth (Nichols) Phillips

Annie Elizabeth Phillips age 80 of Wake Forest, NC passed away on Friday morning, December 10, 2021. She was born in Fountain, NC on September 14, 1941 to Annie Laurie and Alvin Ben Nichols. She enjoyed her life as a stay at home mother caring for her children.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Celebration Church in Raleigh. A private burial will be held in the Nichols Family Cemetery in Farmville, NC

She leaves behind her daughters to remember her, Sanda Hartigan of Raleigh and Luan Cox and husband, Steve, of Raleigh; six grandchildren, Rachel Rogers of Costa Rica, Hannah Rogers of Washington, DC, Ben Rogers of Hickory, Lauryn Cox, Madilyn Callahan and husband, Austin, of Greenville, Jeremiah Cox of Raleigh; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Carol Lewis and Sue Taylor both of Farmville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Eugene Holland Phillips, who died in September 2013 and by her daughter, Robin Rogers.
