Antonette M. Weismeyer, age 88, died on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Wake Forest, NC. From her birth in Manhasset, NY, on December 8, 1929 to her death on Sunday she nourished people around her with love, faith, and happiness. She was born in a suburb of New York City to Antonio and Michellina Cona and was the middle child of five children.
Anne graduated from Manhasset High School and had two children, Charles Anthony and William Anthony. A devoted mother, she was a class mother, team mother, and a fixture at all of her son’s athletic events. Her home was a magnet for all her son’s friends to find a warm, friendly “mother” that would cook a great meal for all.
In her later life, she married Leonard Weismeyer, who definitely was the love of her life. She moved south and retired from the United States Post office to enjoy the great weather and friendliness of North Carolina.
