Bennett Eli Waites

Bennett Eli Waites, beautiful baby boy age 7 days, passed away in his mother’s arms on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Bennett was an identical twin and was born prematurely and struggled with under developed lungs. He will be missed dearly by his family who take great comfort in knowing he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven.

Bennett was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Frances Waites and by his maternal grandfather, Eddie Wilson Marlowe.

A funeral service will be held at Bay Leaf Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Bay Leaf Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bennett is survived by his parents, Jonathan & Lisa Waites of Raleigh; siblings, Reaghan, Makenzie, Zachary, Grayson, Ansleigh, Whitney, Sawyer & identical twin Beckett; grandfather, Wesley Waites & step grandmother, Laura of Lexington, SC; grandmother, Deborah Marlowe of Columbia, SC; aunt & uncle, Treva & Patrick Hill of Lexington, SC, and aunt & uncle, Joan & David Brantley, and uncle, Brett Marlowe of Columbia, SC.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
