Betty Jean (Baker) Batten

Betty Batten, 77, of Rolesville passed away peacefully at her home April 25th. She was a graduate of Broughton High School and previously worked at Square D for over 25 years. She lived most her life in Wake County.

At her request, no services are planned but friends and family are welcome to visit with the family at 5401 Grapeland Drive in Wake Forest.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Baker. She is survived by her children, Carla Bissette (Joel), Mary “Sissy” Caudle (Darrell), Lisa Robinson, and Ronnie Byrd; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren affectionally called her Nana. She cherished her grandchildren Brittany Overstreet (Waylon), Tara Inglis, Erika Byrd, and Addison Byrd and her great-grandchildren, Reagan Overstreet, Elijah Inglis, and Amelia Inglis. Also surviving is her brother, Larry Baker Sr. (Louise) and by many extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wake County SPCA.
