Carole Mabeus

Carole Stilwell Mabeus, 79, of Wake Forest, went to her Heavenly Father on January 14, 2011. Carole was born on September 15, 1931, in Ilion, NY to Bertha Charbaneau Stilwell and Harry Stilwell. Carole graduated nursing school from Albany College in Albany, NY. On August 2, 1952, she married Arthur Mabeus of Ilion, NY, and together they raised ten children.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children; son, Richard Mabeus and wife, Maria of Phoenix, AZ, son, Robert Mabeus and wife, (Tammy) of Pewaukee, WI, daughter, Cathy Gilman and husband, John of Stillwater, NY, son, William Mabeus and wife, Dana of Wake Forest, NC, son, David Mabeus of Albany, NY, daughter, Linda Hughes and husband, Michael of Mt. Airy, MD, daughter, Patricia Mabeus of Auburn Hills, MI; son, Steven Mabeus and wife, Lori of York, PA, and son, James Mabeus and wife, Mary of Severna Park, MD; sister, Patricia Tibbits and husband, Earl of Webster, NY; brothers, William Stilwell and wife, Mary of Ladys Lake, FL and Thomas Stilwell and wife, Niki of Utica, NY; 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur and by her son, John Mabeus.
Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock Monday morning January 17, 2011 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
