Carolyn L. Woodruff, 72, died Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was born October 23, 1945 to the late Hubert Loyd Sr. and Macie Pleasant Loyd. Carolyn was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Louisburg and worked in the textile industry for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Hubert Loyd, Jr, Clifford Loyd, Edward Loyd and Wallace Loyd; brother-in-law, Jasper Privette..
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Garden in Wake Forest.
Surviving are: two sisters, Helen Parrish & husband, Paul, Edna Privette; a brother, Julian Loyd; sisters-in-law, Altene Loyd, Minnie Loyd, Laverne Loyd and Connie Loyd.
