Catherine Baston Miller

Catherine “Cathee” Baston Miller departed her loving family on April 17, 2021.

Catherine was born in Montevideo, Minnesota on January 2, 1959 to Frank and Barbara Baston.  Catherine lived in multiple places as a child but was mainly raised in Iowa Park, TX.  She graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1977 and received her degree from Avalon Vocational Technical Institute in 1991.

Catherine held many jobs and titles during her time with us.  Things like flight line attendant, lunch lady, teacher’s assistant, prop master & stay at home mom.  But her true love really was being a prop master.  From creating a real working hourglass for the Wizard of Oz, to a real size car for Grease.  She really was in her element when she was in the theatre with a glue gun in her hand. 

She is survived by her five sons Jon and his wife Michelle, Eric and his wife Laura, Brad and his wife Jennifer, Matt and his wife Alyssa, James and his wife Jessica.  She is also survived by 2 siblings Frank Baston Jr. and Wendy Stephenson-Hawkins.  She is also survived by grandchildren Elizabeth (12), Riley (10), Logan (6), Kylie (4), Sebastian (3), & Hayden (3).  She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Barbara Baston and sister Sherron Hughes.

Visitation with the family will be held at Bright Funeral Home on April 29, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
