Charlie" Jay" Pleasants

Charlie “Jay” Pleasants, 90, died Thursday, October 4, 2018. He was born November 23, 1927 to the late Willie and Anna Hailey Pleasants. He was a US Navy veteran and worked for many years as a production manager with Freightliner Trucks.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 20, 2018 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Burial will follow at Woodland Baptist Church in Wake Forest.

Charlie is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews; step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest (919) 556-5811
