Connie B Kidd

Connie B. Kidd age 58, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was born in Franklinton, NC on June 28, 1963, the daughter of the late Marvin and Idell.

She loved to adopt dogs that were going to be put down in shelters and spoil them like they were her own children. She will be fondly remembered as an incredible chef, cooking delicious spaghetti meals and whipping up sugar and molasses cookies, putting smiles on everyone’s faces. She could always be found in her kitchen with a smile on her face.

Connie leaves behind her soul mate and care taker, Mahlon Earl Cobb II of Louisburg, NC; son Christopher Cobb of Raleigh; maternal father Elgie Capps Sr. of Va.; brother Billy Hawk and wife Elizabeth of Louisburg, NC, Elgie Capps Jr. and wife Ann of Va.; sisters Karen Whetzel and husband Ronnie of Va. and Truna Whyatt of Va.; daughter Amanda Koenck of Bunn and granddaughter Ava Bell of Bunn.

Family will welcome friends on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in the Bright Funeral Home from 2-4pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Bright Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 1PM. Interment will follow at the Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery in Zebulon.
