Darrell Richard Pruett

LOUISBURG

Darrell Richard Pruett, 78, passed away on Sunday December 8, 2019. He was born in Paoli, Indiana the son of the late Lester Pruett and Olive Opal Pinnick Pruett. He served four years in the Air Force before receiving his MBA from American International College in Springfield, MA and becoming an accountant/ Vice President of Finance.

Darrell leaves behind his wife, Patricia Warzecki Pruett, his two sisters, Patricia Minton and Shirley Moser, his daughter, Robin E. Bachelder, his son-in-law, Ivan A. Bachelder, and his two grandsons, Nick and Eric Bachelder.

Darrell was an exceptionally loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed playing basketball and pool with his grandsons and walking outdoors/ fishing with his family.

Darrell’s passions included writing mystery novels (three of which have been published), playing the guitar, and watching Indiana Hoosiers basketball games. He also loved fishing, building furniture, visiting with friends and family in Indiana, and going for walks with his dog Gretchen, whom he loved dearly even in the final days of his life.

The family will be at Bright Funeral Home at 1 o’clock Friday afternoon December 13, 2019.
