Dear Tricia and family... I am so very sorry to learn of your loss of David. Having a relatively young spouse torn away from you by cancer is a terrible burden.
Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29/1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may sometimes seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1).

I shall miss David. He was a good man, husband and friend to all. I sorely miss his daily walk over to the Ford showroom from the Chevrolet building to come and get his coffee. We would generally speak for a few minutes about life and work. I learned during his illness, just how strong of a man he truly was. Rest in peace David. You will be sorely missed. I know you will be pulling hard for the Volunteers. Peace out brother.

I would like to say how very sorry I am that David has passed in such a short time after hearing of his diagnosis.
