David Eugene Jares

Mr. David E. Jares, 59 of Wake Forest, NC passed away unexpectedly at Wake Medical Center on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. David was born in Fullerton, California, born to Donald E. Jares and Bonnie K. Jares on August 1, 1963. He received his Bachelor's Degree from James Madison University and met his wife in Greenville, NC a few years later. David worked for Sanofi as a pharmaceutical sales rep for 30+ years before retiring in 2018.           

David is survived by his wife of 32 years Dana Langley Jares; children Joshua David Jares and Jordan Ann Jares; mother Bonnie Jares; brother Dan Jares; sister Jeanine Montgomery; multiple nieces and nephews; and hunting partner Remington (Remi) Jares. David is predeceased by his father Donald Jares.

David enjoyed spending time with his family, taking family trips, pheasant hunting in South Dakota with his buddies, and walking/training his dog. He is loved by many family and friends and will be dearly missed. 

The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:00am followed by a Celebration of David’s life in the Bright Funeral Chapel at 11:00AM. This event will be live streamed for those that cannot attend. Interment immediately following in the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens at 770 Stadium Drive Wake Forest, NC 27587.
