David B. Willis, 63, of Wake Forest, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. He was born January 3, 1956 in Boston, Massachusetts a son of the late Jack and Donna Willis. David was predeceased by his sister, Wendy Willis.
David enjoyed his time with his company and working with folks he served. He also liked to fish, go to the beach, boating, baseball and cars. He loved his dog, Hunter. David was known as a diehard Carolina fan. He will be missed for his care, compassion, and love that he showed to all of his family and friends.
David is survived by his wife Anita of Raleigh; his children: Matthew Willis and his wife JoJo of South Hill, VA, Michael Willis of San Francisco, CA, and McKenzie Willis of Raleigh; his grandson, Joshua Willis of South Hill, VA, his siblings: Jackie Lewis and her husband James of Beaufort, NC, Mary Abeyta and her husband Bob of Wake Forest, Cathy Allen and her husband Bill of New Bern, Dawn Gordon of Raleigh, Jeffrey Willis of Greenville, and Jack Willis of Selma, AL.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 3712 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC 27704.
