Delia (Becton) Dixon

Delia Becton Dixon age 72 died at her home on August 2, 2021. She was born on February 8, 1949 in Wake County to Dorothy Shearon and Hubert Macon Becton. Mrs. Dixon was retired from working in the Wake County Public school system as a Pre-school and Kindergarten teacher where she worked for many years. Delia was preceded in death by her husband Walter E. “Walt” Dixon Jr.

She is survived by her children Rebecca Ann Dixon (Bill Kent) of Benson, NC and her son Richard Allen Dixon II of Indiana, family friend Jennifer Taylor; sister Emily Lacina (Brad) of California; sister in law Diane Dixon; brother in law and sister in law Milton and Faye Dixon; family friends, Bonnie, Jennifer, Kris and Jerry Johnson. 

A Memorial service will be held in the Bright Funeral Home Chapel at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, December 4, 2021.
