Donnie Ray Pearce

Donnie Ray “D Ray” Pearce, 64, of Wake Forest left his earthly body and gained his wings on Wednesday March 18, 2020 at Rex Hospital surrounded by his loved ones after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was born in Franklin County the son of the late Berline Perry Pearce and Charlie LB Pearce. He was also preceded in death by a son; Donnie Ray “Fatboy” Stone, and three brothers.

Donnie Ray was a carpenter, but also a master of many trades. He was a devoted husband and loving father, as well as a father figure to many other family and friends whether near and far whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years; Anita L. Pearce and his son; Donald Ervin Pearce of Wake Forest, also by his 2 sisters and 4 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he always held dear to his heart.

It brings his loved ones special peace and comfort in knowing he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

Donnie Ray will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

Upon his request there will not be any services.
