Dorothy Callahan Artus

Dorothy Callahan Artus, 96, was called to her eternal home on Friday evening, October 2, 2020. She was born December 13, 1923 in the Bronx, NY daughter of the late William and Jeannette Callahan. She was a devoted wife of 37 years prior to her husband, Conrad Walter Artus death in 1981.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Social distancing and face coverings are requested.

She is survived by three daughters, Reverend Lorraine DeArmitt and husband Skip of Long Island, NY, Patti Tuggle and husband Steve of Charleston, SC, and Dr. Denise Tillery and husband Mark of Wake Forest, NC, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
