Dorothy Marie (Rogers) Drugan

Dorothy Marie Rogers Drugan, 91 of Raleigh, passed away Friday September 11, 2020.  She was born December 12, 1928 in Floral Park, NY to the late William Harry and Ethel Marie Palmer Rogers.  Dorothy was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Wake Forest.  She was a former member of the Red Hats Club, Meals on Wheels, and helped build two churches.  Dorothy enjoyed gardening, reading, going to the beach, and being with her family and friends.  She was always thinking and doing for others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Owen William Drugan, III, her granddaughter, Kristine Drugan, and two sisters, Audrey Gardner and Barbara Pro.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Denise Drugan of Clayton, her son Owen William Drugan, IV and wife Linda of Raleigh, and three grandchildren, Jonathan Drugan of Garner, Alyssa Drugan of Raleigh, and Owen Drugan, V of Wake Forest.

A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Bright Funeral Home Chapel in Wake Forest. Entombment will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum in Wake Forest.  The family will receive friends from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home
