Dorothy B. Jones

Dorothy “Dot” Pauline Jones, 85, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at her home with loving family by her side. She was born March 19, 1935 in Nash County to the late John A. Bissette and Lucindy J. Bissette.

Dot loved her family and always put them before herself. Her love for life, compassion for others and contagious smile will be greatly missed. She will always be our "Sunshine."

She is survived by her daughter Angel J. Bolen (Shawn); grandchildren Joshua Blevins (Aspen), Michal Bolen, Morgan Isely; great granddaughter Elena Isely; sisters Hilda Hicks and Gail Liles (James); as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Leon “Buddy” Jones.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Total Life Center in Raleigh for the love and care given to Dot over the last several years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Resources for Seniors, 1100 Navaho Dr., Ste 400, Raleigh, NC 27609.
