Edna Parsons Smith

Edna Parsons Smith age 89, wife of the late Carley Smith completed her earthly journey December 31, 2020.  She is now at rest and in the arms of her kind and loving Savior.  And if she could speak to you today she would lovingly whisper it is well with my soul.

She is preceded in death by husband Carley H. Smith, her son Donnie H Smith and baby infant Smith and grandson Bill Plyler and loving 

parents Henry and Allie Parsons.  Also she would say all of my friends I loved and grew up with have passed.

Left to honor and cherish her memory:

Son Danny Smith and wife Delores and children Pam Plyler and Renee Jordan and grandchildren Hollie Estes and Luke Jordan.

Daughter Sandra Smith Holt, grandson Bryan Holt and wife Kerri and great granddaughter Riley.  Grandson Jason Holt and wife Angie and great grandson Kendal Holt and great granddaughter Jayci Holt.  Grandson and caregiver the past year Kevin Holt and great grandson Joey Holt. 

Jutta Smith wife of the late Donnie H Smith and grandsons Joshua and Andy Smith.

Mother is surived by one sibling Margaret King of Clinton NC.

Happiest times for Mother were with family and friends.  Her late chihuahuas were a joy and her "babies". My "her" dogs Jaxon and Finley Holt  were a constant source of love and companionship and she basked in their attention and they hers. Active for years in the Raleigh Free Will Holiness Church as organist, Sunday School Secretary and youth director were  an honor to her.  She was a passionate fisher and of course always caught the most and biggest fish.

A viewing and graveside service will be held Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Raleigh Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Garland Driver and Rev. Leonor Rueda  Powell.  We cordially invite those in attendance to participate and add a fond memory of our Mother, Edna Smith and worship with us in her home going.
