Edwin Arthur Snyder Jr.

Edwin Arthur Snyder, Jr., 60, of Wake Forest, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 26, 2019. He was born August 18, 1959 in the Bronx, New York a son of the late Edwin Arthur Snyder, Sr. and Naomi (LaVoie) Snyder. Ed was predeceased by a grandson, Ferdinand Snyder.

Ed worked for Harris Teeter as a District Manager. He was a parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, in Wake Forest.
Ed enjoyed scuba diving, cruising, flying drones and RC planes, and most of all spending time with his family.

Ed is survived by his wife Francine Nowicki Snyder; Francine and Ed just celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on October 3rd; his two children: Edwin Snyder III and his wife, Katrina of Youngsville, and Kierstan Pentoney and her husband Ryan, of Louisburg; eight grandchildren: Edwin Snyder IV, Joseph Snyder, Casimir Snyder, Mary Catherine Snyder, Teresa Pentoney, Faustina Pentoney and Dominic Pentoney; two sisters: Darlene French and her husband Eric of Lakeville, PA, and Sharon Weber and her husband Bill of Huntersville.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, October 31, 2019 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Memorial Garden, Wake Forest.

Memorial donations may be made to UNC Children’s Hospital.
