Elena Anguelova Siarova-Hickman

Elena Anguelova Siarova-Hickman 62 of Wake Forest, passed away December 31, 2021.  She was born March 18, 1959 in Sophia, Bulgaria to the late Angel Georgiev Serev and Tzvetanka Petrova Sereva. Elena was an Economics Professor at Wake Technical College.  She enjoyed travelling, teaching, and being with family and friends.  Elena was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Scott Hickman of the residence, one son Zach Hickman of Wake Forest, and one daughter Gabrielle Hickman of Colorado; a brother, Viktor Serov of Sophia, Bulgaria.

A celebration of Elena’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Rev. Brown B. Patton officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home.
