Elizabeth Smith

Elizabeth Smith, age 91 of Wake Forest, NC passed away at home on Sunday, April 18, 2021.  

Elizabeth was born May 7, 1929 in Nash County, NC the daughter of Bertie (Brantley) and George Edwards.  She was employed by ITT as a tester for the telephone ship to shore unit.

She is survived by her daughter with whom she resided Kathy Richardson; sister Gerri Gregory; grandson Patrick Richardson; great grandson Tristan Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Foster Carter and sister Nellie Boone. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 10AM April 21, 2021 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon
