Ellen Inscore O'Neal

Ellen Inscore O’Neal, 79, of Wake Forest passed away on Thursday January 20, 2022 at Wake Medical Center. She was born in Harnett County daughter of the late William Hubert Inscore and Flonnie Sarah Poole Inscore and was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years M. Oscar O’Neal.

Mrs. O’Neal was retired from the Wake County School System.

A funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon January 28, 2022 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. O’Neal is survived by her daughter, Nancy O’Neal Vaughan and her husband Ricky of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Chad Perry and his wife Michelle of Wake Forest, Crystal Edwards of Wake Forest, Sara Ellis and her husband Brian of Wake Forest and Dylan Vaughan of Wake Forest; great grandchildren, Jordan Edwards, Joshua Howard, John Vaughan, Isabella Ellis, Reagan Perry and Jenna Wall; a sister, Barbara Inscore of Lillington; brothers, David Inscore of Willow Springs and Wayne Inscore of Lillington.

 She was preceded in death by two daughters, Charlene O’Neal Perry and Teresa O’Neal Dark and a brother, Billy Inscore.

Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 – 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
