Erin "Reagan" Winans

Erin “Reagan” Danielle Winans, age 9, was born May 11, 2009 in Raleigh, NC. She received her angel wings on November 4, 2018 at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh, surrounded by family and friends. Reagan was the daughter of Roger and Shawna (Silvers) Winans of Wake Forest, NC.

Reagan was a student at Jones Dairy Elementary School in Wake Forest. She loved school, her family and friends, her pets, and life in general. She was passionate about everything she believed in - even though a child, mature beyond her years. During her long and courageous battle with cancer, she touched the lives of countless people who will always cherish her memory and the lessons she taught.

Reagan is survived by her parents; her siblings Kailan Michelle, Nathaniel Kieffer, and Morgan Sydney; her maternal grandmother, Shellyn Guthrie; her paternal grandparents, Parris and Carol (Adema) Geiser, and Roger A. Winans; and generations of aunts, uncles, and cousins along with special family friends and earthly angels who have loved and supported Reagan and her family.

No service is planned at this time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
